Clinic patients with health concerns or seeking advice from their Patient Medical Home Physician. Synergy Medical can and will accept patients from other clinics to assist our community during this pandemic period. We can appreciate some of the difficulties that clinics are having in dealing with vulnerable patients. The purpose of the clinic is to assess patients who have been telephone screened by their physicians and it is determined that they require physical assessment requiring Personal Protective Equipment PPE.
Rest assured, we are here to support our patients and will do this to the best of our abilities. We also offer baby wellness visits, including a breast-feeding clinic run by our Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant. We offer advice and treatment for incontinence and genital prolapse, including pessary fitting and maintenance, and a pelvic floor physiotherapy program in conjunction with PT Health in Synergy Wellness Centre.
We also discuss issues surrounding menopause. Please visit our Services page for more information. Out staff will book a Phone Visit with your physician. Your physician will call within 24 hours or the same day depending on availability. Your concern will be triaged by the physician and addressed as necessary. What if I am asked to come in? Patients must provide a cell number that will accept texts.
Patients will receive a text reminder 48 hours before their appointment AND also the day of the appointment. Text messages on the same day of the appointment will contain information on the time and location for the appointment. This will let us know that you are waiting. Patients MUST wait in their cars until they are called for their appointment. Though we are doing our best to stay on time, be a patient. If you have not been called within 10 minutes of the designated appointment time, call the clinic first.
Do not arrive unannounced. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this pandemic period. Your physician must phone assess the patient first based on AHS protocol. If the patient requires swabbing for CoVID they must go through the established channels by calling If appropriate the patient will be referred to the clinic. Patients will receive a call and be given an appointment time and they must come at the time assigned. Though we are doing our best to stay on time, be patient. When you are summoned for your appointment you will be greeted at the sliding door entrance, provided a mask, asked to sanitized your hands at the station and then you will be brought directly to the clinic. Do not arrive unannounced Patients will be assessed and treated as necessary This is NOT a walk-in clinic as we are trying to ensure proper infection control and social distancing.
An area has been set aside specifically to deal with these assessments and to segregate them from the rest of the patient population.

A physician's "accepting new patients" status is based on information provided by the physician. If the status is incorrect, the physician must contact the CPSA to update their profile. Practice Interests are identified by the physician but do not reflect any approval process and may or may not indicate specific additional training.
