Why cant i find my friends playlist on spotify
I'm not sure about the following issue, but one reason you might not be able to see their playlists is that they might have them on "Secret". A Secret playlist is essentially private, so it won't be seen on their profile, and even if you'd search the name of the playlist, it won't be there. Also, there is an option in settings to allow recent artists, playlists, and more to be shown on the profile. Your friends may have that option turned off. Hope that clears something's up.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: HONNE - Location Unknown ◐ (feat. BEKA) (Brooklyn Session)

The people on this list are people that i am not following, where do i find the people that i'm actually following? This is the way its supposed to work. However, my list is blank and has been for at least a few days, maybe longer. Ahh, excellent, thank you! But you can look into this, if you have a chance. A few weeks ago I removed a friend from my Follow list as her tastes doesn't match mine and her profile spams my Discover page.

Coming back to spotify after a few months and I'm clearly just missing something but I can't seem to search for playlists or facebook friends. I go to "follow" which seems to be the only sensible option but this brings up only a top bunch of friends wiith a refresh button: showing 6 randomly selected people at a time, which is fairly useless. In "What's new" there is a playlist selection but that is once again totally unsearchable: just giving top ones near me?
I have had Spotify for a while and have only used it to play and download music for my own pleasure but have a friend who has recently got Spotify. We are going on my stag do in July and I have made a playlist for the hotel room and various trips where we can play our own music. I wanted him to have some input into this playlist so added him as a friend but he cannot see all of my playlists. Go to Solution. If you right click on your playlist, you can select 'Make Public' and tick 'Collaborative Playlist'.
If this post was helpful, please add kudos below! Yeah, me too. Being able to find you matters in how you setup your account when you registered. I think the problem many of us are having is that we want the playlists we make public to show up in search results for other Spotify users. None of my public playlists can be found by my friends and I'm not talking about sharing, I'm talking about them being in the public search results. For example, I have a few smaller independent artists that I follow and I've made some playlists that I think showcase their music. However, when I was on my friend's Spotify account he could not find any of my public playlists I could understand a limit if there are 40, Lady Gaga playlists, but for these artists there are few or none, so why would there be any limit? Is there a way to reach Spotify directly to solve this problem? Thanks for any help.

No one can find my playlist without being sent a link or by going into my Spotify profile and looking at my public playlists,. The success of finding a playlist by just typing its name depends on different factors, such as popularity, followers, amount of friends, uniqueness of the name, and how new it is. There's still no guarantee that a playlist will be found, so it's better to share it as you were already doing.
With the Spotify social system, it is amazingly easy to share content with your friends which is great! But sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find and follow your friends in the first place especially if you or your friend is not connected to Facebook. This tutorial serves as a quick "How-To" find and follow your friends in Spotify!
First of all, your playlists may be set to secretive. On iOS you can check this by clicking the three dots at the top as if you were going to edit the playlist, then making sure that is says "make secret. If that doesn't solve your issue, please let me know, and I would be glad to help out. Although all Spotify's songs and albums are indexed, playlists are not. I guess it's due to the crazy number of playlists and with so many playlists created each day it would take massive resources to index all of them and show them in search.
